Speaking at Conferences - My Personal Advice

This is a very short blog post, referring you to a very long writing. I've started my public speaking journey back in 2017, thanks to my learning partner Toyer Mamoojee. Now I've finally found the time and energy to document what helped me (and still helps me) with speaking at conferences.

Shared my speaker checklists with the 2nd colleague today (yes I have such a thing and they help me reduce my uncertainty and not forget things 😉). Got asked how to craft and prepare a workshop last week. Considering writing a blog series now 😏 (just need to make time for it).

The result is a compilation of my personal advice for speaking at conferences. Although it's targeted at conferences, there's advice for speaking at any kind of event as well, like giving a talk at a meetup, or a workshop at a company. Whether you've never spoken before or you are an experienced speaker, I hope you get inspiration out of it for your own journey.
